MORRIS PLAINS BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE LOOKING FOR A FEW NEW MEMBERS TO JOIN THEM IN BEAUTIFYING MORRIS PLAINS:

The Morris Plains Beautification Committee is a amall group of 10 -15 people who love Morris Plains and enjoy sprucing up and beautifying selected areas and public garden spaces around the Borough.

Members typically work on their garden projects individually or in pairs .

Examples of the type of gardens the committee members maintain include the freight station flower bed, the flower pots around Town Hall, the Route 202/Malipardis Road corner garden, Court Road and Simons Park gazebo gardens etc.  The Beautification Committee is also the sponsor of the Morris Plains Community Garden located off Central Avenue.

The committee would love to have a few new members join us to share their hard earned experience and/or learn from our Master Gardeners just what plants grow best where.

The time commitment is not large, and each individual can set their own schedule.  We meet for a short meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at the Community Center.

If you are interested in joining or getting more information, please call Nancy Critchley at 973-390-1129.
