![]() Refund Policy for Recreation Programs - Refunds will be issued if you cancel registration 14 days before the start date of a program. All programs are subject to cancellation by the MP Recreation Commission if minimum participation levels are not met. Registered participants will be notified 7 days before the start date of a program if cancellation is necessary and fees will be refunded. To receive a refund, a voucher must be completed at the MP Community Center during business hours, Mon-Thur 9am-4pm. Recreation Has It's Own Web Site! - Copy and paste www.morrisplainsrecreation.com to your Internet browser or click on the Link entitled Morris Plains Recreation. Bowling Program - Recreation is sponsoring a bowling program at Hanover Lanes starting in January. Look under Town Forms for the sign up forms and for information. It is open to children ages 4 to 14 and to Senior Citizens. Let It Snow! - Each time Morris Plains snowfall is four inches or more...build a snowman or sculpture. Email Recreation at dirrec@optonline.net. Include your name, address, and a digital photo of your masterpiece. If you cannot send a photo, let us know and we'll come out to take one. January Book Club with Charlot Lamm - On January 28th, 2009, The Morris Plains Book Club will meet at the Community Center at 7:00PM to discuss Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire by Amanda Foreman. Call 973-539-4381 for information. There is no cost. February Book Club with Charlot Lamm - On February 25th, 2009, The Morris Plains Book Club will meet at the Community Center at 7:00PM to discuss North River by Pete Hamill. Call 973-539-4381 for information. There is no cost. - Note: All of the programs are for Morris Plains residents and require registration if noted.
