Refund Policy for Recreation Programs - Refunds will be issued if you cancel registration 14 days before the start date of a program. All programs are subject to cancellation by the MP Recreation Commission if minimum participation levels are not met. Registered participants will be notified 7 days before the start date of a program if cancellation is necessary and fees will be refunded. To receive a refund, a voucher must be completed at the MP Community Center during business hours, Mon-Thur 9am-4pm.

Morris Plains Teen Center 2008-2009 - Registration has begun online at www.morrisplainsboro.org. Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 5th. Any child NOT registered by September 5th will NOT be able to participate in the 2008/2009 MPTC. When you have completed your online registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail (if not received, your registration was not completed successfully). Share the Care- 5K Run/Walk/Kids Race - MP Recreation and RPI design ▪ build, LLC, a local builder will host a 5K Run/Walk and kids race on Sat., Sept 27th at 8:30 a.m. to benefit Morris Habitat for Humanity. After the 5K, there will be a Kids Fun Run for children ages 2-14. Early registration fees until Sept 15th are $20 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. September Book Club with Charlot Lamm - Our Book Club leader, Charlot Lamm, will hold the first meeting of the Fall Season on Wed. September 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the MPCC. The book selection is Digging to America by Ann Tyler. The books are available at our library and other local libraries and also in paperback. Town-wide Garage Sale - Oct. 4th and 5th - Find your undiscovered treasures in MP on Sat, Oct 4th & Sun, Oct 5th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drive thru the Community of Caring to find your bargain buys at over 70 garage sales. Maps of town and information on each garage sale location will be available for pick up on Oct 4th at 9 a.m. on Hillview Ave. across from Friendly's. Garage sale permits are available at the Community Center, 51 Jim Fear Dr, Morris Plains, 973-538-3544. Business hours are Mon thru Thurs, 9 am – 4 pm.
