Community Park Pool

Description

The Morris Plains Community Park Pool is located at 51 Jim Fear Drive in Morris Plains. It is set in a quiet park and includes:

  • An adult pool (132 feet x 72 feet) with a diving board and a sliding board
  • A wading pool (36 feet x 25 feet and 18” deep) with two events
  • Snack bar (you may also bring your own refreshments)
  • Picnic area
  • Playground
  • Basketball court
  • Special member events such as evening splash parties, BBQs

The pool offers swim lessons at an additional cost, as well as a popular summer swim team (visit http://www.leagueathletics.com/?org=MPMarlinsSwim for more information).

Season and Hours of Operation

The Morris Plains Community Pool typically opens after the Morristown High School last day of school (when lifeguards are available) and closes on Labor Day. During the season, the pool opens daily at noon and closes at 7:00 p.m.

All members are required to have a pool photo ID. The ID can be obtained by sending a photo to kleahey@morrisplainsboro.org, and the ID will be created and mailed.

Guests are permitted for a fee of $10/per guest, if accompanied by a pool member.
