The Morris Plains Farmers Market will host its first ever Winter Holiday Outdoor Market with food vendors and holiday crafts on Saturday, December 3rd from 10 am – 3 pm at the usual Farmers Market location at 771 Speedwell Avenue Parking lot. The vendors are Ort Farms, Zabka Polish Deli, Pies and Quiches, Pickles, Olives, Etc., J & M Treats and Eats, and introducing Spoon Me Soups and The Girl from Empanada.
There will be music and a special (weather permitting) appearance by the Morris Plains Community Band at 12:30 on the platform of the former Freight Station (771 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains).
Our sponsor, Provident Bank will also have a booth with give-aways. Our crafters are Ellie Falco with tree ornaments, folded book art and miniature scenes; A Krafte Production with baby body suits, seasonal dish towels and signs, creative canvas, Morris Plains T-shirts, cards; and do not forget your furry friends for the holidays – Kaschwabble features doggie treats!
Morris Plains’ young hero, Cavan Markt will be back at our market selling home-made ornaments to raise funds for his Ukranian orphanage playground project.
A couple of holiday guests may be strolling around, and we will have coupons for some local stores and candy canes while they last.
