FEMA is opening a regional disaster recovery center for individuals to report damage related to Hurricane Ida. It will be located at the Morris Plains Community Center , 51 Jim Fear Drive, starting Monday September 20 through Thursday September 23 from 8:30am-7:00pm. FEMA will assist residents with claims.
FEMA granted a major disaster declaration for Morris County and with it, relief programs for residents. Residents can explore and apply for resources at https://www.fema.gov/disaster/4614.
New Jersey’s Henri/Ida Business Assistance Grant Program provides short-term, immediate August rent or mortgage reimbursement support to New Jersey small and medium-sized businesses and non-profits that have suffered physical damage as a result of the remnants of Hurricane Henri on August 22nd or 23rd, 2021 and/or Hurricane Ida on September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd 2021.
