The Morris Plains Rabies Clinic scheduled for Saturday, January 8th has been postponed by the Morris Plains Board of Health.
The Board of Health will reschedule the Morris Plains Rabies Clinic for the Spring. Dates and times will be announced within the next few weeks.
Pet owners are responsible for ensuring their animals are up to date on shots. Given the need to postpone the Rabies Clinic, all Morris Plains late fees for registering dogs and/or cats that are due for their rabies shot In January will be waived.
Residents can see their own vet or travel outside of Morris Plains to obtain a rabies shot at another municipal clinic. Residents can visit the Morris County Division of Public Health website, Rabies Clinics – Morris County, NJ (morriscountynj.gov), for a listing of additional rabies clinics offered throughout the County.
