Recreation
The mission of Morris Plains Recreation is to offer residents a wide variety of programs and events to enhance health, education, the arts, and a sense of community in the Borough. The responsibility of recreation is shared by the Recreation Commission, and employees of the Recreation Department in the Borough.

The Recreation Department sponsors programs and events for families, adults, senior citizens and children.

Employment Opportunities
Each year, the Borough of Morris Plains seeks applicants for openings for:
- Summer Camp Counselors
- Summer Enhancement Program Instructors
- Lifeguards for Community Park Pool
- Snack Bar workers for Community Park Pool
Applicants must have completed freshman year of high school and must be able to obtain working papers. Lifeguards must also have current lifeguard certification. Preference will be given to residents of the Borough of Morris Plains.
