Sports Programs
Please visit Morris Plains Recreation for information about sports and fitness programs sponsored by the Borough. Local youth recreational leagues and clinics are available seasonally for basketball, softball/baseball, soccer, and swimming. These programs are organized independently of the Borough and are offered in partnership with Morris Plains Recreation Commission.

Morris Plains Marlins Swim Team
The Morris Plains Swim Team is a summer swim program that provides a fun and competitive swim season for swimmers from ages 5 to 18. The Marlins are a member of the Morris County Summer Swim League. We offer a summer training program for all levels of competitive swimmers, with training from a dedicated and experienced coaching staff. The Marlins average about 100 swimmers per season. The “home pool” is the Morris Plains Community Park Pool.

Morris Plains Little League
Morris Plains Little League offers clinic, t-ball, baseball and softball programs for children from pre-K through 8th grade.

Morris Plains Soccer
The Morris Plains Soccer Association (MPSA) is dedicated to providing affordable youth athletics to the children of Morris Plains, NJ. Serving more than 250+ players annually, MPSA welcomes children of all abilities to participate in recreational programs designed to encourage growth and focus on fun.
Spring and fall programs are available for ages 3-10 (Pre-K – grade 4), as well as a youth referee program (grades 6-12).
