Morris Plains Teen Center
Purpose
The Morris Plains Teen Center is a non-profit organization created to provide a safe and engaging environment for Morris Plains Borough teens to go on select Friday nights. The Morris Plains Teen Center is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade children. Proof of residence is required to join. The Teen Center is an important tradition dedicated to helping the youth of the Morris Plains community.
The Teen Center holds events twice a month for 10 months over the course of the school year. Some events include dances, skate nights, and grade centered events held at the Teen House located in Morris Plains. During these events we like to hire vendors to come and entertain our kids.
As a non-profit group, The Morris Plains Teen Center receive donations from organizations associated with the town. In addition, we hold fundraisers where the kids are involved in community service in return for a donation and each family pays a registration fee to join.
Registration
All participants in the MPTC must be registered and pay the annual registration fee to help fund our programs.
The deadline to register is September of each school year. All registrations received after the deadline will be assessed a late charge fee unless the teen is a new Morris Plains resident.
