Local Emergency Planning Committee

Purpose

Under the supervision of the Mayor, the Local Emergency Planning Committee is responsible for the planning, activation, coordination and operation of the emergency management activity in the Borough. The committee coordinates with county, state and federal authorities and the authorities of nearby political subdivisions to ensure the most effective operation of the emergency management plan.
